Birds fledge

Some days are worse than others. Some days are better than others.

I have often written about letting go, knowing when something is "over" and moving on. It is a theme I carry through my life; I believe it is a theme we all carry throughout our lives. Life is a learning process; we learn how to let go, otherwise we live stagnant lives stuck in a moment or a mindset.

Loving with an open heart is a letting go process. It is one full of tears. It is also full of hope, hope for the future. Our hearts grow stronger, love bigger, beat deeper because they learn to love and let go. It feels right; it is how we should all love.

Letting go is harder in practice than theory. It can feel like a sledgehammer blow to the chest, but it is a necessary step in our emotional and spiritual evolution.

Hearts hurt, but they lick their wounds. Hearts grow and hearts learn, if we let them.

Birds must fledge. So must we.
