Grace flows

BOOK I : Psalms
1 Blessed is the man
who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked
or stand in the way of sinners
or sit in the seat of mockers.
2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD,
and on his law he meditates day and night.
3 He is like a tree planted by streams of water,
which yields its fruit in season
and whose leaf does not wither.
Whatever he does prospers.

How deep does Gods grace flow? Does the stream of his grace ever stop flowing fully to our roots? If we send our roots deep enough, we will have an abundance of grace, all that we would ever need. Instead, usually, we leave our roots on the surface, and beg God for a small cup of water, Please, Lord, just this one thing I ask. Why, when we could have it all? The water in the stream is a flowing constant, constant as His grace and love. We have only to send out our roots to him deeply to tap into his constant, ever-nurturing grace.
